About the Artist
​I am Chetan C S, an established artist with water color as the main medium of expression. I am based in Bengaluru, India. Born and brought up in Malenadu region, the green belt of southern Karnataka, I have been always inspired by the vibrant nature around me since childhood, and it has been a natural connection with Art since the early years.
​
​I work on live locations as well as in my studio space, though my personal choice has always been to paint in plein-air(live on locations). I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere and deep discussions or a casual chit-chat with fellow artists working alongside.
​
My personal favorite artist list include John Singer Sargent, Joseph Zbukvic, Claude Monet, Chien Chung Wei,
S M Pandit, John Fernandes, Vasudev Kamath, BKS Varma and many more.
​I share my experience in landscapes, cityscapes, waterscapes, still life as well as portraits in various medium that includes water, oil, ink and pencil. I hereby publish the works that are solely composed by me. I confirm that they are designed by myself, during plein-air or using photos taken by myself. There are a few produced with photos from known contacts with prior permissions to paint(due credits has been mentioned as applicable). In case of any objections, please contact me for clarifications, corrections or removal.
